What a ham!

Daysie had a woodland creature themed second birthday.  She is getting so big and loves to have Zoe and Kylee visit and play.  Although, Daysie and Kylee tend to be very territorial with one another, but what two year isn't like that?  They definitely make it entertaining.  It is part of being a two year and learning how to "play" with others their age.  Zoe and Kylee love to hear stories and see pics of Daysie when we are not with them, it is pretty cute.

Zoe and Kylee wished everyone a "Happy Thanksgiving!"

Thanksgiving was at my aunt and uncle's house.  The kids hung out with my cousins, Kristine, Karen, and Katherine and they had a great time doing crafts and playing hide and seek.  Kylee potty trained while we were home for the week, so we were hyper focused on making sure we had frequent potty breaks.  It is not easy, when the kids are playing and having such a great time.  She was a trooper for sure.  Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!

The snow fest was so COOL!  On a nice, hot, sunny day, what better way to spend it, but in the snow!  Kylee didn't want anything to do with it until she saw Shaun go down the snow slope.  She wanted to go down with Daddy.  Then she wanted to go again and she said, "Mommy go."  It was so fun to see them make snow balls and throw them around.  They had a great time and love the snow!

We went to the teaching zoo this year, it was a lot smaller, but great for the kids at their ages.   They got their face painted, trick or treated, saw some animals, and watched an animal show.

Connor's Superhero Birthday

The kids were encouraged to dress up as superheroes and got to wear their personalized capes from last Christmas.  It was so cute!  They had a great time, it even got dark enough for the kiddos to do their own version of flashlight tag.  And of course, a jumper had to be involved!

 Trick or Treat!

It was so fun this Halloween!  The girls played in the backyard until it got a bit dark, we had pizza, and went out trick or treating.  This year we had the Carrico's, Bell's, and my parents over to see the girls.  It was so neat to see their faces as they got candy.  It was a quiet night for us, as far as handing out candy, but was nice to hang out.

Dos Caminos' 50th Anniversary Carnival

The girls had a great time at Dos Caminos' 50th Anniversary Carnival!  They played the games, collected tickets, and earned a stuffed dolphin for each of them.  Kylee enjoyed the band and clapped to their music and Zo loved the Kona Ice slushie.  It was nice for Shaun, Zoe and I to be on our old stomping grounds.
