Rainbow Party!!!

Rainbow Jumper with the Rainbow Attired Four Year Old

Rainbow Pinwheels

Papa and YiaYia had this AWESOME pinata made for Zo.

Well...another success!  We had to postpone due to Zoe being sick, but she felt much better for her party the following weekend.  Again, I made the cake and that was so much fun.  I love decorating the cakes for the kiddos, thanks to my friend, Kim, who inspired me to do so.  This one was not only a hit because of the outside, but the inside was rainbow as well.  My favorite was how the candy table turned out, but Zoe told us her favorite part was the rainbow jumper.  She really had a great time and this was the first time she invited some friends of her choice from school.  We are really thrilled that she has made a few little girl friends at school.  Hopefully she will end up going to elementary school at the same school as one or more of them.  This year we had the kiddos making Fruit Loop necklaces and wacking a pinata, along with the usual jumper.  The pinata was such a success!  Because we had the candy table already, I filled it with big toys, and the kids loved it.  Zoe is already asking about her party next year!  I want to get her used to the idea of "our" party instead of "my" party, so the girls can have a dual party next year.

Bath Time Fun!

I couldn't resist grabbing the camera and sharing.  You can see how much our girls adore one another.  They have such a blast together!  These are just classics.

Happy Fourth Birthday Zoe!!!

ANOTHER year has already flown by!!!  Zoe is FOUR!!!  She is such a proud four year old.  We have had quite a busy year with adjusting to a new baby sister and starting school!  Zoe has grown up so much this year.  At the beginning of last summer, she began a summer preschool drop off program and was super timid and wouldn't talk much or interact with others.  Then she started our school and the local park and rec program and she is developing into her own little self.  Still very shy and timid, but warms up much quicker!  Yeah!  This year she has learned how to write her name, can identify letters and numbers, count at least up to thirty-nine, write most of the letters, and even knows the sounds and what some words begin with based on the sound.  She loves art and brings home paper puppets to retell the nursery rhymes.  Zoe's coordination is getting much better and she rides bikes, trikes and scooters pretty well.  She even told Daddy that she wanted to play t-ball!  That definitely makes a daddy proud!  She is into everything that is girly.  Her favorites seem to be Barbies, dress-up, and she is starting to like the Disney princesses (There is something about Ariel, The Little Mermaid).  It is amazing how fast she is catching on to technology.  She can operate our phones, ipads, and Kindle Fire.  Her favorite foods kind of fluctuate, but she LOVES shrimp!  When we go to retaurants, most of the time she orders for herself.  We can't believe what a great big sis she is!  She helps out all of the time and even "babysits" her!  Kylee adores her!  Happy 4th Birthday Zo!!!
