The Farm with the Cousins

All Five (Zoe, Jadyn, Kylee, Ryder, and Zach)
Lookin' up to my BIG cuz

Pumpkin Pow-wow

Despite a small battle with crowds and bees...we had a good time picking out pumpkins at the farm.  The kiddos climbed the haystack hill and slid down the tractor slide.  We saw the ambulance come and Zach said, "There is an emergency." and Zoe said, "That's a lot of commotion."  I can't believe how big they have become and their vocabulary...holy cow!!!

A Visit From Tasia

Zoe was so excited to see Tasia again this summer!  This time in CA.  She was visiting Tony, so we met them about half way for dinner.  I was able to meet Tony for the first time.  Zoe had such a great time and she got along so well with Tony.  He was so good with her, we approve!!!  :)

Ooops! Did I mention The Monterey Bay Aquarium?

Some of our favorites!

On our way home from San Francisco, we stopped at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  That was such a good decision for us.  Kylee could not stop pointing at everything she wanted to see and Zoe was so amazed with the animals.  We really enjoyed it!

Fair

 First Pony Ride!
 First Pony Ride!

Grandma got all the kiddies to get on a pony this year!  The fair was a success and the kids had a BLAST on the rides this year.  We captured really cute pics of the kiddos on the rides, but not on my camera.  They are getting to the age were rides are such a thrill!  They even put their hands up on a few of the rides.  Good times!

Last of our Travels

We went to San Diego for about two days because I had a conference to go to.  The girls were done traveling.  Sleeping wasn't great, but what do you expect when you have to sleep 4 in the same room?!  Shaun and I laugh because we have to turn out all the lights at the girls' bedtime and sit in the dark, no TV sound, so we go on our iPads.  Did I mention, in the dark???  Zoe thinks it is so fun, so she tries to stay up as late as we do.  Not too fun in the morning!!!  Our friends came with because I attended the conference with her, so the rest went to Sea World.  Zoe decided she was DONE traveling.  Poor Daddy!  As we drove home, we dreaded the next morning because we were heading back on the road for Vegas.
Vegas was my family's trip.  All Grandma's side of the family was there.  It was HOT!  Almost too much to walk just across the street.  We swam in the Flamingo's pool and watched the crazy dance party in the adult pools.  The highlight was the Blue Man Group.  Zoe was so glued to the show, and Kylee was such a good baby, and fell asleep.  She slept for almost the whole thing, up until the end and then it was too loud for her to sleep.  The hotel was awesome and the whole family could fit in the bath!  Zoe was in heaven.  All of our summer travels had FINALLY come to an end!  We felt as though the start of the school year would be our time to recuperate.

Nona and Zoe
 Nona and Kylee

And the traveling continued as we boarded a plane to Montana, not more than 4 days after getting home from San Francisco. We had a great time in Montana, as we always do!  It is a time that we all look forward to each year.  This year Amy and Jeff decided to take us on a day trip to the Pryor Mountains.  The girls were in the car all day and they were amazing!  Zoe talked non-stop about going to the freezing cave and wild horses.  We also got to spend a lot of time with Nona.  Zoe and Kylee kept her entertained and smiling.  They are definitely two entertainers!  We had dinner with the whole family at Linda's house and Zoe got along so well with the boys.  I must not forget the drag races!  Zoe thought it was so cool to wear the headphones, but Kylee not so much.  It was really neat!  And Tomater was super cool!  It has a jet engine, so it sounded like a jet was about to take off on the drag strip.  I haven't seen anything like it.  We look forward to next year's visit!
