Playing with Water

We haven't taken Zoe swimming yet, even though we thought we would have her in the pool all summer, but she is loving playing in/with water. If we ask her if she wants to go outside, she nods and says, "ouside". Then we get to the door and she says, "Wawa". I taught her how to paint with water, so everytime we go out front she gets her bucket and paintbrush and asks for wawa. Yesterday, Shaun was watering and our hose squirts water from the attachment, so Zoe had a field day playing in the water. She was cracking herself up. It's so funny that she let that water hit her face because when she is in the bath that is the part she doesn't like most.

Mmmmmm...Peaches are Yummy!

Zoe FINALLY is eating whole fruit, instead of baby food. For the longest time Zoe wouldn't touch whole fruit and if she took a bite, she would spit it out. We recently took her to the Farmers' Market and she ate a strawberry, so we bought them and she had more when we got home. Then our peach tree is soooooo full of peaches and our little neighbor, Jasmine, ate almost a whole peach and Zoe watched. As she watched, she asked for one too. She ate about half of it and the only thing she spit out was the skin. "Mmmmmmm", she said and when we asked if it was yummy, she nodded yes.

Weeeeeeeee! Weeeeeeeeee!

Zoe got a swing from Uncle Greg and Auntie Heather a long time ago and we FINALLY put it up in the backyard. We let Zoe stay up late the night we put it up because she did not want to stop swinging. The whole time she swung she said, "Weeeeeeee! Weeeeeeee!". Thanks Uncle Greg and Auntie Heather, we love the swing!

All Tuckered Out!!!

It seems like just yesterday that Shaun and I met (almost 11 years ago), let alone got married (5 years ago). WOW!!! I still remember how amazing our wedding was and can't believe how much we have accomplished since. Number one, of course, is ZOE!

We decided that we would spend the night in Anaheim and go to Disneyland for two days to celebrate. We were able to see the World of Color, the new water show at California Adventure. It was pretty cool. We tried very hard to keep Zoe up for it, but it was WAY past her bedtime. She struggled, so she missed most of it. There will be many times in the future for her to see it. The trip was a lot of fun. Zoe went to the Tiki Room, rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Small World, and Toy Story Mania. We are really lucky because Zoe loves to people watch as much as we do, so we spend a lot of time walking and looking around. Zoe found herself a new purse while we were there. It was pretty funny...I asked her if she would like the purse and she nodded yes, put the purse on her arm, and signed please. How can you say no to that?! She was so tired the second day, but wanted to see it all. We tuckered her out so much that she fell asleep looking at everything.

Just Hangin' Out

Hugs!!!

Hmmm...What's over there?

Running away from Daddy

Such a Lil' Lady

We went to my uncle's house to celebrate my cousin's birthday and Zoe was such a ham, as usual. She loved playing with my little cousins, Jack and Sara. I just have to say she looked super cute that day. My mom distracted her long enough that I put her hair up and put the butterfly clip in.

Happy Father's Day...

Shaun and Ryder

Grandpa, Zoe, and Ryder

Shaun, Ryder, Zoe, and Grandpa

Daddies and Babies

We had a great Father's Day. It was time to pack up our campsite and clean-up, then we took a walk around the campsite. Zoe loved looking around because we hadn't gone all around the camp ground. She loved seeing the birds, trains, waves, and all the different campsites. When we were just about done with our walk, Zoe had her head leaned forward and resting on the bar in front of her stroller. Wendy thought she was looking at something, but she was completely asleep! What a great laugh! That was the first time she just completely tuckered herself out and just passed out. Unfortunately we only had our phones, so I will have to figure out how to get the picture off our cell phones. We went to lunch and then headed home. Hanging out was what Shaun wanted to do, so that's just what we did.

Monday we went to my parents house for dinner with Greg, Heather, Zach, Ryder, and Jadyn to celebrate Father's Day. It is so crazy to see how much the kids are growing. Per Grandpa's request, we took a picture with all the Daddies and babies. How fun is that?! We all had to laugh a little at the little crowd that we have created.
