White Christmas

Ember was mimicking Zoe and it was so cute to watch.

Caught a mini smile :)
This year we chose to travel up to Montana for Christmas.  We had a WHITE Christmas!!!  It snowed most of the day.  The week was spent with Shaun's cousins, his aunt and grandma.  A bonus was hanging out with baby Ember.  She is a really good baby and the girls were so infatuated!  We got our baby-fill too!  Shaun learned to navigate through snow and ice covered streets and by the last day he was driving almost at a normal speed limit ;).  The girls loved playing in the snow again.  We spent several days with Shaun's grandma and she was enjoying watching the girls play and keep themselves entertained with paper, crayons, tape and scissors.  We are so grateful that Shaun's cousin Amy and Jeff, open their house up to us when we visit.  Thank you, Jeff and Amy!

Santa Visit

 Winter princesses...
 The 2 goofballs...
My brother's work does a Christmas party for the members each year.  This year we were lucky enough to go because they had a lot of space still available.  The kids got lunch, sat with Santa, got face paint and jumped in a jumper.  Santa gave them a little gift bag and the face painter was amazing!  We are SO lucky to have a close family with kids that really enjoy each other's company.  It is so fun to hang out and see how they play together and reflect on how much they have grown!

Santa to the Sea

We ran/walked the Santa to the Sea 5K.  The girls and I walked it with a gal from our office and 2 others with their families ran it with Shaun.  We all finished and got a medal!  Then we hit up the farmers' market after.  It was warmer than we thought it would be, so my poor little ones had to shed several layers!  We are looking forward to continuing to get the whole office involved next time!

Reagan Library

We took the girls to the Reagan Library because it had a really neat exhibit and it is Daddy's favorite topic!  The girls really enjoyed it and we even saw the Christmas Trees of the World display.  Zoe operated several robots and we got to experience virtual reality.
