We had a great time in San Diego.  Zoe showed that she does have a courageous side and went on her first roller coaster and a couple rides by herself!  The little ones still just come along for the ride.  This year it was the Bell family and Carrico's.  The diner was so fun!  We will be going back there for sure.  Maybe this time with a reservation.  We can't wait for another San Diego trip!

The girls' birth dates are so close, so they shared a party.  Mommy was much more sane that way!  We had a purple and pink princess party.  All food was princess themed, a pink and purple jumper, and tutus/tiaras and capes/crowns for party favors.  Of course, I spent the time to make the cake (Thanks Kim for introducing the hobby!)  We draped part of the patio as a princess tent.  The kiddos decorated a wand or a sword and it was a lot of fun.  Zoe invited a couple school friends and we had all of our group of friends' kids.  Grandma and Grandpa, Papa/YiaYia, the aunties, and uncle also shared in the princess fun.  The girls had a great day!  Onto planning for the next one!!!

Happy 5th Birthday Zoe! (April 11th)

I cannot believe that our little girl is already 5!  She is still loving reading and storytelling as much as ever before and is still a great help to Kylee.  We do find ourselves reminding her that she is not the mother because her tone is a bit too bossy.  Her preschool teacher, Miss Tammy, says that she cannot believe this is the same child as last year.  She said, "She won't shut up."  I think she gets that from me.  Maybe I should apologize now to all her future teachers.   In first grade, I believe I got a chatterbox award.  Oh boy!  She is going to be in kindergarten in the fall and has such a vocabulary and we are excited for the formal education to begin.  Something happened as she turned five, her willingness to try new things that may be scary or intimidating, increased tremendously and she has show such courage!  I hope that she continues to try new things willingly.  Daddy and I cannot believe how she picks up lyrics to songs after the first time hearing it, and she knows who is singing the song.  Happy Birthday Lovebug!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kylee! (April 8th)

Our little peanut is quite a little personality!  She is getting into everything and climbing on everything!  At her doctors appointment, she was not even in the 10th percentile for height, nor weight.  We thought we had a petite little one with Zoe!  She is talking in short sentences and singing "Let it Go!"  We find her picking up words in a song as they are sung and really thinks she can get away with anything.  As much as she may be a little stinker, she is the biggest cuddle bug!  She loves to snuggle with us and is so inquisitive.  We already get the question, "Why? Why? Why?", all of the time.  Most days, she is great about sharing and really enjoys watching and learning from her sister.  Her phrase that cracked us up was, "What you doin'?"  She wants to do everything her big sis and cousins do.   She is keeping us on our toes for sure!  Happy Birthday Little Peanut!
