Christmas Morning
Look at what Grandma and Grandpa got us!
My poor cousin, Jadyn, is sick, so I tried out her new purple car.
On a little stroll...so proud!
Christmas is such a great time of year and it is only getting better as the girls are becoming more aware of everything that is going on. Kylee is so into all of our decorations and we made it a point to get them out and decorate right away. She was so good MOST of the time and did not mess with the decorations and wrapped presents. We decorated gingerbread houses and Zoe was so into it this year. She was concentrated on making it look so good and she has mastered the basic pattern skills. Kylee knows what Santa says and is following directions so well these days (if only she was patient enough for restaurants :) ). Elf Steve showed up on time this year and Zoe was so excited to see him. By the time it was Christmas, Kylee was saying her muffled "Steeee", for Steve. We sing "Oh Christmas Tree" every morning when Zoe or Kylee moved the snowflake over in our count down tree. We left Kylee with Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas Eve because church was too late for her and Zoe really enjoyed herself this year. We even caught glimpses of her legs rocking out to the band and she even thought it was pretty cool that they sung some of the songs she already knew. It was late for her too and when we got home, she went to bed without a problem! Let's hope all Christmas Eves from now on are like that :). Zoe was very cautious to make sure that we checked to see if Santa was gone before she came out of her room (What a bonus for Mom and Dad, it was 6:30!). Zoe is into Doc McStuffins, Ariel, and Sofia the First this year and she got just about everything you could imagine, even the Sofia "Floating Palace" book. Kylee is the Minnie Mouse queen this year. It is so cute when she says, "Minnie". We spent Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kiddos got ride on toys and had a blast zipping down the driveway on them. Kylee wants to be big, but is just not quite there yet :). Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends! We are so blessed!
